Marble Talent Group are seeking a skilled CompEx Electrical Engineer to join a growing team. This is a full-time role with a focus on projects across the South West, but you will also be required to travel nationwide, occasionally working away from home.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out installations, inspections, and maintenance of electrical systems in hazardous environments. This is a challenging yet rewarding role, with the opportunity to work on high-security sites and MOD fuelling stations, whilst also developing your skills across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform electrical maintenance and installations in hazardous and explosive environments.
* Install power and data systems for fuel dispensing pumps, gauging, monitoring, and control panels.
* Conduct inspections of static discharge and lightning protection systems.
* Ensure compliance with ATEX standards and procedures.
* Support the development of services across fuels, decommissioning, and tank maintenance.
* Take ownership of your own professional development, with tailored training opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
* CompEx 1-4 and 7 & 8 certification.
* 18th Edition and 2391 (Inspection & Testing).
* First Aid at Work certification.
* Ability to work independently and remotely.
Desirable:
* Experience with Lightning Protection Systems.
* Previous experience in the fuel and oil industry.
