Job Title: Maths Teacher (Supply)

Pay Rate: £140 – £200 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join schools across York and the surrounding areas on a full-time, temporary supply basis. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a positive impact across different learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons to secondary students.
* Assess and track student progress, providing clear feedback and support.
* Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning atmosphere.
* Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
* Inspire students to achieve and develop confidence in mathematics.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching Maths at Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable).
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching maths.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Flexibility to work across a range of schools in the York area.
