This is an exciting opportunity to join a client-focused practice, manage a varied portfolio, and take responsibility for delivering high-quality personal tax compliance and advisory services.As a Personal Tax Manager, you will:
* Manage a substantial portfolio of personal tax clients, including high-net-worth individuals.
* Lead the preparation and review of personal tax returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
* Provide proactive advisory services on personal tax planning and strategies.
* Supervise and mentor junior team members, reviewing their work and providing guidance.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact.
* Ensure all work meets technical, regulatory, and internal quality standards.
* Contribute to the continued growth of the personal tax function.
The successful Personal Tax Manager will have:
* ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent qualification.
* Proven experience managing a personal tax portfolio within an accountancy practice.
* Strong technical knowledge in personal tax, including trusts, estates, and capital gains.
* Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
* Commercial awareness and proactive approach to client service.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
