Facilities Maintenance Technician with Electrical Bias (Live Events Venue)

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance, installations, and inspections across the venue.
* Deliver temporary power, AV systems, and support for live events and functions.
* Support and supervise facilities operatives, contractors, and apprentices.
* Complete a range of multi-skilled maintenance tasks, including plumbing, mechanical, and general building works.
* Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
* Work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and event shifts.
* Use digital tools and the Building Management System (BMS) to log, monitor, and report maintenance activity.
Candidate Requirements
* Fully qualified Electrician NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds equivalent, 18th Edition (essential).
* Proven experience in a multi-discipline maintenance or facilities role.
* Knowledge of temporary power systems, electrical installations, and AV systems for live events.
* Strong understanding of Health & Safety, including risk assessments (RAs) and safe working procedures (SWPs).
* Excellent communication skills and a team-focused approach.
* Additional certifications such as IPAF, ECS Card, or mechanical/FMs skills are advantageous.
* Physically fit and ready for a hands-on facilities maintenance role in a live events environment.
