Job Role: Field Service Engineer
Location: Midlands
Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining reputation for excellence by delivering top-notch service to valued customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct preventative maintenance at customer sites in adherence to service contract requirements.
* Assist in the installation, overhaul, and retrofit of product range machines.
* Perform servicing and repairs on chamber machines as needed.
* Engage with customers to promote service contracts and aftersales products.
* Collaborate internally to identify opportunities for service contracts, consumables, or machine installations.
* Support the development of service proposals and provide technical assistance to sales/key account managers.
* Offer recommendations to customers based on scheduled maintenance assessments.
* Independently carry out maintenance operations outlined in service contract schedules.
* Work as part of a team on larger maintenance projects.
* Participate in technical training sessions and update meetings to stay current with skills.
* Assist lead technicians in equipment installation or modification when necessary.

Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a similar field service role preferred.
* Technical aptitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
