The job itself
We Are looking for a confident, engaging and experienced practitioner to work all year around, in our busy day nursery. We offer childcare places to children aged between 6 weeks and 5 years 8 am - 5pm.
Withernsea Day Nursery is an extremely busy setting you will be expected to work at a fast pace to a high standard, however you will receive full support from knowledgable practitoners and coaching from your manager as you settle into a very welcoming team.
You should hold at least a level 2 childcare qualification and work Flexibly to meet the needs of the practitoners.
You will support a safe stimulating leaning environment for children and their carers and demonstrates a good understanding of how to motivate and engage children with their development and learning.
You will need a sound knowledge of how to safeguard children and protect them from harm.
You should have experiance of supporting parents and an understanding of commitment to working with parents/carers ensuring each child needs are recognised and met.
You will have knowledge and experience of observation, asessment and planning in EYFS.
You will ensure as part of a team that a high quality enabling environment is maintained.
