Job Description
The Company are looking to recruit a new Social Media and Content Creator to support their upcoming shows, rehearsals and events throughout 2025. This is a freelance role and the right candidate needs to be prepared to work with the company on a weekly basis.
Roles and responsibilities
* Weekly posting to social media (All 3 channels, Coalesce Dance Theatre, Coalesce Youth Dance and DanceConnect).
* Capturing content and documenting rehearsals, workshops, performances and events
* Creating high quality,industry standard social media content for upcoming projects, job roles & new opportunities
* Finding innovative ways to increase engagement on social media
* Utilising Canva or Adobe Illustrator (as preferred) to develop graphic overlays where needed
* Regular reporting to the company directors
* Responding to company clients / venues who need access to social media and marketing assets
What we are looking for
* A Freelancer who can dedicate a minimum of 3 hours per week to this role
* Experience or knowledge of working in the dance sector and what content is appropriate in these settings
* Prior understanding of how a professional dance company runs, and their day to day activities
* A friendly, confident and proactive individual
* Organised, with good punctuality and communication skills
* A high standard of written English
