Purpose of the Role As a Sales Account Manager, you’ll build strong, long-lasting relationships with partners across all reallymoving service areas. You’ll act as the primary point of contact, driving performance, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering exceptional service that supports both partner success and wider business goals. This is a varied, fast paced role for someone who loves relationship building, problem-solving, and driving results. The Sales Account Manager role is offered on a hybrid basis, requiring a minimum of two days per week in our central St Albans office (a short walk from St Albans City station), along with travel to client meetings as required. Key Responsibilities Prospecting: Proactively source and onboard new partners who meet reallymoving’s quality standards and service requirements. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships across a varied partner portfolio. Understanding Client Needs: Develop an in depth understanding of partners’ businesses, industries, and goals to provide tailored solutions that support mutual growth. Account Planning: Create and execute account specific strategies and action plans designed to meet partner needs and deliver against revenue targets. Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of reallymoving’s homemoving comparison services to confidently support partner queries and offer expert guidance. Communication: Act as the main point of contact for partner enquiries, issues, and escalations, ensuring communication is clear, timely, and solution focused. Cross Selling & Upselling: Identify opportunities to enhance value through additional services. Customer Satisfaction: Monitor partner satisfaction, proactively resolve issues, and anticipate evolving needs to deliver exceptional service. Reporting & Analysis: Produce performance insights and identify areas for improvement. Partner Negotiation: Negotiate renewals, pricing, and expanded service adoption to strengthen relationships and drive revenue growth. Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing, Development, and Product teams to ensure account strategies align with wider business goals. CRM Management: Maintain accurate data within internal and external systems Cross Department Support: Provide support to other departments when required to ensure a seamless partner and customer experience. What You Will Bring A minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent qualifications) Strong sales acumen with proven relationship management skills and confident communicating by phone, email, and in person. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences. High IT literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook )Ability to quickly learn and navigate internal systems and CRM platforms Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. A professional and solution focused approach when handling complaints, issues, or escalations. Confidence working independently and managing a varied portfolio of partner accounts. Willingness to travel for face-to-face partner meetings when required. An interest in ecommerce, digital platforms, or online marketing environments. Experience within property, surveying, removals, or service-based partner environments is desirable but not essential. Experience of working in, or alongside, digital teams Experience working within the home mover's space preferred but not essential.
