This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced proposal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys turning complex technical information into compelling, client-focused submissions. About The Role As a Senior Proposal Co-ordinator, you’ll focus on the proposal stage of the bid lifecycle, managing strategic and high-profile submissions across our UK business. You’ll work closely with bid managers, technical teams, visual communications, and senior stakeholders to produce high-quality, brand-aligned proposals that help us win work. Key Responsibilities: Coordinating and managing proposals from kick-off to submission, ensuring compliance with Buro Happold’s bid processes. Reviewing tender documentation to identify client requirements, win themes, risks and deadlines. Leading bid kick-off meetings and developing submission programmes and timelines. Working closely with technical teams to shape clear, tailored and persuasive responses. Writing and editing high-quality copy, including bespoke proposal content, CVs and project sheets. Ensuring submissions are well written, fully compliant, on-brand and submission-ready. Coordinating document design and production, working with graphic designers where required. Supporting client presentation stages, including mock interviews. Sharing best practice and supporting the development of colleagues involved in bids. Maintaining accurate bid, pipeline and fee information in CRM systems. Acting as a CRM champion to support accurate reporting and insight across the business. About You: Proven experience in proposal or bid coordination, ideally within the built environment. Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills, with excellent attention to detail. Experience managing multiple deadlines and working under pressure. Confidence working with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams. Advanced IT skills, including InDesign, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook. Experience in architecture, engineering or construction is advantageous. 3 - 5 years’ relevant experience. A confident, proactive communicator at all levels. Calm, organised and resilient under pressure. Comfortable leading discussions and constructively challenging content.
