Job Title: National Account Manager – Automotive Sector
Location: Field-Based – Flexible on where you are based in the UK
Salary: Up to £48,000 PA Basic + £18,000 Bonus Uncapped + Company car or Car Allowance
Our client is at the forefront of providing innovative products, insurance solutions, and digital services to car dealerships and OEMs across the world. Their deep sector knowledge and commitment to excellence have positioned them as a market leader.
They are now looking for a National Account Manager to join their team and drive the growth and success of their key client accounts.
Your Role:
As a National Account Manager, you will take full ownership of their most strategically important accounts, building strong, multi-threaded relationships with clients, driving revenue growth, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional outcomes. This is a senior, field-based role that combines strategic oversight with hands-on client engagement and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and develop 1 Platinum or 2 Gold accounts, responsible for ~67% of gross margin.
• Act as the primary point of ownership for client relationships, revenue, retention, and satisfaction.
• Immerse yourself in client businesses, spending 1–2 days per week on-site as required.
• Lead, mentor, and guide KAMs and RAMs, ensuring consistent performance and development.
• Deliver tailored account strategies, including upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
• Monitor account risks, retention challenges, and proactively implement solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, marketing) to ensure client success.
• Track and report on account performance, financials, and KPIs.
