Electrical Supervisor
Morson Edge are recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor to join our client, a leading electrical contractor in the North West, known for progressing electrical engineer through their career paths.
They deliver innovative electrical solutions for the commercial/industrial sector, including projects for education, healthcare, leisure type facilities installation and testing of full electrical lv infrastructure.
The Impact Youll Make
• As our Electrical Supervisor, you'll be the driving force behind the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of electrical works on-site.
• You'll lead a skilled team, ensure compliance with industry standards, and keep projects moving smoothly from planning to completion. Your leadership will directly influence our reputation for reliability and precision.
What Youll Do
• Supervise and coordinate all electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on-site.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ensure all work meets regulatory and company standards.
• Plan workloads, allocate resources, and monitor progress to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth communication and problem-solving.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Mentor and support electricians and apprentices, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
What Youll Bring
• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or Senior Electrician in industrial, commercial, or construction environments.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Strong understanding of BS7671 standards and relevant H&S legislation.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to quality.
