Role Overview
Montgomery & Cunnington is seeking a Measured Survey Assistant to support a short-term building survey project across six sites in the West Midlands. This is a site-based, full-time temporary role ideally suited for a student of the built environment looking for a paid Summer opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct measured building surveys using laser scanning equipment
* Travel to and work on-site at multiple building locations
* Ensure accurate data capture and site documentation
* Communicate any issues or questions with a remote supervisor
* Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout the survey process
What We’re Looking For
* No prior surveying experience is required — full training will be provided
* A working knowledge of reading and interpreting building plans is highly desirable
* Ability to work independently and manage on-site tasks
* Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial but not essential
