We are looking to hire an Electronics Engineer within the electronics team to enable Quantum technologies. Passionate about helping create technologies which can change the world? We may be the right place for you so get in touch!
Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for the hardware system design, and realisation of a complex large scale electronics control system.
* Design, build and test electronics products using your skills of analogue and digital circuit design together with industry standard CAD packages and test equipment.
* Write the documentation of your electronics circuits and verification tests.
* Develop your experience in a broad range of electronics engineering subject areas.
* Maintain the multidisciplinary collaboration with mechanical engineers, software engineers, physicists, working towards a common goal.
* Play a key role in building control systems for quantum computers.
* Maintain UQs’ position of using state of the art electronics solutions.
* Help in the planning and scheduling of projects, reporting progress and issues.
* Engage with project planning activities, risk management and scheduling requirements.
* Help with fast turn-around proof of concepts and feasibility discussions.
* Develop a thorough understanding of the firmware and software used to control quantum computers.
