Harwich and Dovercourt High School Cleaner (10 hours) 2 hours per day 3pm – 5pm Pay Range: Local Government Scale 1, Point 2 Actual Salary from: £ 5,775 Start Date: ASAP The Role We are seeking an outstanding individual to contribute to the smooth running of the School by carrying out a range of cleaning duties and working as part of the cleaning team This post is 10 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (term time plus non pupil days and 3 weeks during school closure periods) Please note that we reserve the right to close this advert early should we receive an overwhelming response. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Undertake a cleaning rota with specific duties during the school day. Replenishing supplies of toilet rolls, paper towels, soap, hand sanitiser and empty bins. Undertaking cleaning duties in classrooms, corridors and toilets including cleaning at a high level where appropriate safety equipment is available and a safe system of work has been defined in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.
