We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Housing and Community Support Worker to join our team and positively impact the lives of those we support. \r\n\r\n We currently have one full-time Housing and Community Support Worker vacancy of 37 hours per week. This role will be crucial in providing support with life skills and promoting independence for individuals with learning disabilities. You will work closely with our Members to help them achieve their goals and aspirations, providing tailored support and guidance in all aspects of daily living. \r\n\r\n Key Responsibilities: \r\n\r\n \r\n\t Provide support with daily living tasks such as personal care, household tasks, and managing finances \r\n\t Assist with accessing community resources and recreational activities \r\n\t Encourage and support Members to develop their life skills and independence \r\n\t Develop positive and supportive relationships with Members and their families, carers and healthcare professionals \r\n\t Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of the Member’s support and progress \r\n\t Work as part of a team to provide high-quality, person-centred support \r\n \r\n\r\n Support Worker Requirements: \r\n\r\n \r\n\t Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, ideally in a support or care setting, would be useful, but we offer a robust induction and training package to bring all applicants up to speed. Attitude, aptitude and ambition to succeed are the personal values that we seek. \r\n\t This role requires you to work at Level 2 in Health and Social Care. If you do not have this qualification, we can develop you through an apprenticeship.
