About Our Client
A well established but growing organisation based in the Billingshurst area are looking to recruit a Sales Ledger and Credit Controller for a fixed term maternity cover contract lasting circa 12 months.
Job Description
As Sales Ledger and Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:
* Invoicing daily for any sales orders that have been dispatched
* Reconcile bank statement and post customer payments
* Maintaining the customer details and making changes as required
* Carrying out credit checks on new and existing customers as required
* Dealing with customer queries and investigating claims and disputes with customers and resolving or elevating as required.
* Chasing customers for payment of debts as they fall due.
* Make sure customers stay within their credit limit and request payments when necessary.
* Reconciling your sales ledger on a monthly basis
The Successful Applicant
* Credit control and sales ledger experience
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel to intermediate/high level)
* Excellent communication skills
* Analytical approach & problem solver
* Numeracy skills & attention to detail essential
