The Opportunity You’ll be involved in a diverse portfolio of planning projects, providing expert advice, managing applications, and contributing to the continued growth of the planning team. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and managing a variety of planning applications and appeals. Undertaking planning appraisals and research for potential development opportunities. Providing clear, commercially focused planning advice to clients. Supporting senior colleagues on complex or large-scale schemes. Liaising with local authorities, developers, and external consultants. Keeping up to date with planning policy, legislation, and best practice. About You MRTPI qualified, or on track to achieve chartership within the next 12 months. Experience in a Local Authority planning department (ideally within a London Borough or large urban authority) is desirable, with any private sector experience considered a strong advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of planning policy, legislation, and the wider development process.
