Essential A track record of strategy development and translating strategy into delivery, helping organisations to prioritise effectively. This could include experience at a strategy consulting firm and/or in a strategy role with proven expertise in structuring, analysing and communicating complex problems. (LEAD) Excellent problem solving: the ability to solve complex policy / regulatory problems using expertise from across a wide range of sources, professions and business areas. Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey complex issues clearly and concisely, including experience briefing senior decision-makers. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple, concurrent priorities and projects. Strong management skills: building high performing teams, supporting and empowering colleagues to deliver to high standards, develop their skills and expertise. Desirable Competition or regulatory experience. Knowledge or experience of the energy sector.
