The role
The primary role objective of the Resident Service & Leasing Associate is to provide exemplary customer service to current and prospective residents, including a focus on renting apartments and retaining residents.
What will you do?
* Conduct leasing tours with prospective residents. Follow-up on results
* Using Company approved material and procedures quote prices and lease terms
* Explain services. Accept applications for residency. All activities shall be conducted within regulatory and legislative requirement
* Answer phones using a strong and professional greeting approved at the community. Paint “word pictures” to describe community to future residents and attempt to set an appointment with the prospect
* Promote a professional and courteous attitude with residents and peers
* Provide move in coordination and new home orientation support
* Consistently stand and greet all Prospects and offer refreshments
* Use company service requests software to properly fill out and communicate resident needs to Maintenance Manager
* Respond to resident communications via email, phone calls, and voicemails
You will bring
* Previous customer service work or property management experience is beneficial, but not required for this entry level leasing and service associate position
* Ability to communicate well with people and create an atmosphere for them to feel comfortable quickly
* Assertiveness
* Professional appearance and demeanour
* Strong organizational skills
* Telephone etiquette
* Good verbal skills
* Strong customer service representation
* Ability to read and write English fluently, and the ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions
