Job Description
o Managing the Purchase & Sales Ledger and Fixed Asset Registero Invoicing events, competitions and adhoc saleso Ensuring collection of debtorso Coding and preparing payments for authorisationo Managing the stock ledgero Completing bank and credit card reconciliationso Ensuring staff expenses have been properly codedo Preparing Quarterly Vat returns for reviewo Processing refunds to players· Working with venue partners to agree revenue share payments· Submit Payroll for all staff to external agency· Carry out monthly reconciliations on bank accounts - UK and Spain· Help with production of Management and Statutory Accounts· Liaising with suppliers and resolving queries· Charging coaches for court usage· Invoicing for events, corporate packages, competitions, late payments and subscriptions (recurring bookings).· Any other duties consistent with the role -flexibility in a small team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
3. A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
4. Proficiency in using accounting software Xero would be advantageous and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
5. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
6. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
