Base: Hybrid based in the east of England, Essex, Suffolk, Cambridge, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a fantastic chance to join the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, working within the Delivery Team team as our new Network Development Manager.
As the Network Development Manager, you will be required to oversee the planning, delivery, and evaluation of active travel infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance standards. The role combines technical expertise, project leadership, community engagement, and strategic planning to enhance the National Cycle Network (NCN) and related infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful, sustainable outcomes.
Some duties will include:
1. Lead on the management of active travel infrastructure design and construction projects from concept through to construction /implementation and evaluation.
2. Plan, organise and attend community engagement activities to ensure collaborative approach to projects.
3. Day to day management of inter-disciplinary project teams.
