About the Role
An exciting opportunity within the Lakeland IT Team to provide in-house management expertise for technical IT projects aligned with Lakeland's digital initiatives and system changes.
Lakeland is undergoing an exciting period of system and process improvements to better meet customer needs, technological advancements, and market opportunities.
Reporting to the IT Development Manager, this role is crucial in defining, designing, managing, and implementing system changes to maximize operational effectiveness.
Scope and Responsibilities
1. Project Management: Take ownership of assigned projects throughout the software lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time and within budget, following quality standards.
2. Data and System Security: Ensure IT changes do not compromise data integrity, security, or compliance with UK regulations and IT best practices.
3. Testing: Ensure comprehensive functional and integration testing for all changes to deliver high-quality system updates.
4. Documentation: Maintain all necessary documentation as per change control procedures.
5. Team Leadership: Manage a team of system integration testers, providing leadership, support, and training, with effective resource management.
6. Stakeholder Engagement: Build effective cross-functional relationships and work with third parties to ensure IT changes positively impact customer relations, operations, and business success.
