Ivy Resource Group are recruiting for a talented and driven Quantity Surveyor with groundworks and civils experience to support the delivery of a diverse range of infrastructure and construction projects in Redditch. The Role Entails: This role plays a vital part in the commercial success of civil engineering and groundworks projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to required standards. You'll be involved from early project planning through to completion, working closely with site, project, and commercial teams. What You Will Be Doing: Preparing and managing project budgets, cost reports, and valuations Procuring and managing subcontractor packages Supporting cost planning, feasibility studies, and value engineering Tracking and managing variations and change orders Performing monthly valuations and cost forecasting Ensuring compliance with contract terms and commercial procedures Collaborating with site and project teams to monitor cost and risk Managing final accounts and contract close-outs Attending progress and client meetings Building strong supplier and subcontractor relationships Promoting commercial best practices throughout project lifecycles What We Need From You: Previous experience in groundworks or civil engineering (essential) Strong understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts Commercially driven with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects independently Excellent communication and negotiation skills Good working knowledge of Excel and other industry-standard tools Degree in Quantity Surveying or relevant construction background (or equivalent experience) Full UK driving licence Salary & Benefits: Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience Car allowance or company vehicle 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) Private medical insurance Pension scheme Discretionary annual bonus Ongoing training and development Long-term career progression Flexible working arrangements available How to Apply: Submit your CV Call / Text / WhatsApp Robbie on 07835 935 486 for a confidential conversation Ivy Resource Group are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
