Job Title: Functional Skills Maths & English Tutor
Location: Belvedere
Contract Type: Temporary, Flexible, Part-Time
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: 25- 30 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver one-to-one or small group tuition in Functional Skills Maths and English.
* Adapt teaching methods to support students with SEN needs, ensuring lessons are accessible and engaging.
* Develop and implement personalised lesson plans that address individual learning gaps.
* Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to students and their families.
* Create a supportive and motivating learning environment to help students build confidence in Maths and English
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in Functional Skills Maths and English.
* Experience working with SEN students.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
* PGCE and/or QTS is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to individual learner needs.
