Responsibilities
:
1. Answering queries by phone, letter and email
2. To meet and exceed on customer expectations whilst maintaining department service standards
3. To provide an excellent customer service and keep our clients at the heart of everything we do
4. Using SSAS-pro and SIPP-pro and otherputer systems to check and update records including the daily work log
5. Ensuring the scanning and digital filing is kept up to date
6. Showing expertise and understanding to be able to deal with: Processing pension contributions Transferring benefits and/or the administration and trusteeship to/from another provider Closing/winding-up a pension account or scheme Processing new bank account and investment account applications Dealing with setting up new loans and on-going administration of these. Providingments on member's pension policies Providing information to third parties Dealing with property purchases, sales and leases Providing reports and information to HMRC and FCA Divorce issues Death Benefit issues
7. Ensuring the fee management principles are adhered to
8. Demonstrating ownership of all queries and issues raised
9. Ensuringpliance and SIP department processes are followed at all time
10. Ensuring the quality of you work is of a high standard and meets thepany's standards
11. Attending client meeting as and when required
12. Working with your manager and as part of a team to achieve targets and respond to the team's needs
13. Proactively suggesting improvements to the team's work processes, aiming to improve client service and efficiency
14. Checking work for fellow colleagues and recognising good work
15. Providing coaching, training and guidance to fellow colleagues and take ownership of issues identified and checking all types of work
16. Being able to follow theplaints process and being able to ovee client's objective and deal with difficult situations
17. Participating in any project work
18. Actively liaise and feedback to team manager regarding staff, technical and risk issues
19. Supporting your manager and providing management cover as and when required
20. Assisting with the reallocation of work with the team to cover absence and to ensuring service standards are met
21. Displaying a positive attitude while working in a team environment - including participation at team meetings
22. Participating in ad hoc tasks when required
Your Profile:
Essential:
23. Significant experience administering SSAS or SIPP schemes
24. A positive, can-do attitude and takes pride in work
25. Organised methodical and logical approach to portfolio management and problem solving
26. Ability to apply amon-sense approach to situations
27. Good time management skills
28. Ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative
29. Excellentmunication skills (oral and written)
30. Grade C/6 or above GCSE equivelant in Maths and English
31. Ability to see the 'bigger picture'
32. Pays attention to detail
33. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
