Are you a Trainee Architectural Technician looking to build your technical expertise within a supportive and growing practice?
Do you want to work on residential and mixed‑use projects for national housebuilders and developer clients, gaining hands‑on experience while developing your technical capability?
On offer is the opportunity to join an expanding technical team within a well‑established architectural practice. You will play an active role in supporting the production of high‑quality technical drawings and documentation, working closely with experienced technicians and project leaders in a collaborative environment.
In this role, you will contribute to the preparation of working drawings and technical information, interpret client briefs, and develop your understanding of Building Regulations and technical standards. You will gain exposure to live projects and take on increasing responsibility as your skills grow.
This role would suit a Trainee Architectural Technician who has gained some experience through a placement year or similar.
The Role:
* Support the production of detailed working drawings and technical documentation for residential projects
* Assist with the technical delivery of projects from concept through to completion
* Contribute to ensuring drawings align with current Building Regulations and relevant legislation
* Liaise with internal team members and external consultants
The Person:
* Degree in Architectural Technology or similar
* Some practical experience through a placement, internship, or junior role
* Basic understanding of Building Regulations and technical detailing
* Commutable to Romsey
