Job Description:
**FLT Counterbalance drivers needed**
Role Overview
You will play an important role in safely and efficiently moving goods within a chilled warehouse environment. You’ll work as part of a team, keep the workspace safe and tidy, and help make sure orders are picked and handled correctly.
Main Responsibilities
* Safely check, move, load, and unload goods on time
* Help warehouse staff accurately pick customer orders
* Complete stock rotation and restock items
* Keep the chilled warehouse clean and safe
* Carry out any reasonable tasks asked by supervisors
* Follow all health and safety rules
Skills & ExperienceEssential
* Valid forklift truck licence and hands-on experience
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Positive attitude, motivated, and flexible with shifts
* Strong attention to detail
* Good numeracy skills
* Able to work under time pressure
* Understanding of health & safety practices
Desirable
* Experience working in a dairy, food production, or similar chilled warehouse environment
Hours of Work:
* Monday to Friday with occasional Weekend work
* Shifts do not follow regular patter.
Rate of Pay:
* £13.63 per hour.
* Increasing to £14.00 when permanent
