Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 plus package (car or allowance)

TSR Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established and reputable contractor with projects in Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. This permanent opportunity is with a regional construction business working on a range of projects with values ranging from £5m – £10m.
This is a long‑standing and successful contractor in the region with multiple offices and a major presence in Lincoln. The role will be split between site and office.
The Role
* Commercially manage projects ensuring they are completed within budget
* Take off drawings to produce a bill of quantities
* Subcontract and supplier approval and procurement
* Visit site to ensure costs are on track and complete site measures / variation reports
* Produce cost value reports (CVR)
* Invoice reconciliation and approval for payment
* Produce final accounts
The Person
* Quantity Surveyor experience in mainstream construction
* Strong communication skills
* Good IT skills
* Experience with JCT and/or NEC forms of contract
* Organised and professional
* Relevant degree or experience in a similar role
