Randstad Education is looking for a dedicated and experienced Leader/Head of Media Studies to support KS4 and KS5 students in a school in Crawley. This opportunity provides a competitive pay, aligned with your expertise, qualifications, and teaching background.

This is a permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with school hours 8:30AM-15:00PM.

Requirements:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Possess an excellent degree in Media or a related subject.
* Have proven experience as an exceptional Media teacher across KS4 and KS5.
* Have demonstrable experience in successful departmental leadership.
* Possess strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Passionate about Media and committed to high student achievement.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement a clear vision and strategic plan for the Media department.
* Lead the development and review of a comprehensive Media curriculum at KS4 and KS5.
* Inspire, motivate, and manage the Media department team, providing guidance and support.
* Ensure departmental practices align with school policies and safeguarding procedures.
* Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning within the department.
* Establish strong partnerships with parents/carers, involving them in their child's learning.

* Supports diverse learners to reach their full potential.
* Expert in Media curriculum and digital teaching tools.
* Demonstrates strong communication, organisation, and management skills.
* Collaborates effectively and embraces professional development.
