The role is suitable for candidates with a desire to focus on property post-completion matters and specialise in this area. We are ideally looking for candidates with experience of dealing with Land Registry applications and land tax returns (SDLT and LTT). This role would suit candidates who are committed to developing their skills and advancing their careers within the paralegal and/or commercial property field, rather than those who are seeking to progress to qualification via a training contract.
The Team
Launched in 2010, our well-established, high performing and busy Transaction Services Team (TST) helps Addleshaw Goddard deliver a world-class service to its clients. We were the first team of its kind in the UK and continue to innovate by delivering work in the most efficient way, saving our clients time and money. We are now one of the Firm's biggest Groups, with our team made up of apprentices, paralegals, managers, and solicitors.
Our team members focus on tasks found in a wide variety of legal assignments, which do not necessarily require qualified lawyers, including process elements of transactional, advisory, and contentious work. We are supported by technology and play a key role in enabling Addleshaw Goddard to respond to client demand for more innovative and better value services.
This role is part of a newly established Post-Completion Hub, dedicated to Land Registry applications and land tax returns, supporting the wider TST Real Estate team and Real Estate Group.

What to Expect in This Role
* Managing Land Registry applications, including first registrations, transfers, leases, easements, charges, discharges, unilateral notices, and deeds of variation;
* Submitting SDLT and LTT returns for straightforward and complex transactions involving reliefs, renewal leases, linked transactions, and exemptions;
* Updating our internal case management system and providing regular updates to clients;
* Ensuring quality and consistency in applications and returns through internal quality assurance processes;
* Contributing to team development, including participating in training design and delivery;
* Supervising less experienced team members' work;
* Participating in training, staying updated on technical developments, and supporting knowledge sharing;
* Performing any additional tasks as required.

* Experience in complex commercial property post-completion matters and a developing specialism;
