We are recruiting for an experienced Nursery Manager for a permanent full time role with an early years setting near the Walton-on-Thames area
In your role as Nursery Manager you will be joining a very small independent successful independent setting. the position would suit a Deputy looking to step up or a manager wanting to work in a small homely provision. the position can be completely office based or part room based depending on preference and experience.
What you can expect for the Nursery Manager in Walton-on-Thames:
* £32K-£35K
* 40 hours per week which can be done over 4 long days or 5 days on a rota

Requirements of the Nursery Manager role in Walton-on-Thames
* Hold minimum level 3 childcare qualification
* Deputy Nursery management experience
* understanding of Ofsted requirements
* Good communication and administration skills
Duties and responsibilities:
* Actively promote and support the protection of children and young people in the workplace, ensuring that all staff and volunteers observe nursery policies and procedures to keep children safe from harm.
* Help lead and support staff to implement the EYFS
* Monitor and evaluate practice within playrooms to support improvements.
* Work with parents/carers of all children to achieve full integration in the nursery.
* Foresee the needs of all children, families and staff and give wellbeing guidance as appropriate.
* Support all staff and lead a good staff team with high morale.
* Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members.
* Liaise with the Local Authority and other professionals for the best outcomes for all children.
* To promote the high standards of the nursery at all times to parents, staff and visitors
