SEN Teacher (Further Education) Blackpool – Temporary to Permanent – September Start Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join one of our specialist college settings in the Blackpool area. This rewarding role is ideal for a confident teacher with experience working with young people with complex and profound needs, and a desire to lead a supportive, skilled team. The Role This is a full-time SEN Teaching post working with learners aged 18–25 who have a wide range of complex learning difficulties, including profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). Many of the students are non-verbal, so a working knowledge of signing or Makaton would be highly beneficial. You will be responsible for leading a small class group with the support of a team of Learning Support Assistants. The successful candidate will be confident in directing and managing staff within the classroom, ensuring that students receive the highest level of support and engagement.
