Benefits
Salary: £23,000
37 hours per week, Half Day Fridays (where applicable), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, Pension, Success share, and other flexible benefits.
What you will be doing
* Gain experience of all spacecraft subsystems and obtain an overview of the Satellite Assembly Integration and Test department.
* Support ESA and UK National missions (e.g., Earth observation spacecraft, Forum, and the Lisa series).
* Perform electrical measurements, write and debug scripts, investigate anomalies, develop new test solutions, prepare presentations, and collaborate with the wider Airbus engineering community.
* Aspire to lead and support activities within the Satellite Electrical Engineering department, including subsystem integration, functional and system testing, anomaly investigations, initial test result analysis, environmental testing, and spacecraft interface checks at the launch site.
* Work in a collaborative, international team focused on innovative test solutions and ongoing development within Airbus.

What we look for
* 96 UCAS points (A Levels or other relevant Level 3 qualifications in Science/Engineering).
* 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English Language, Maths, and a Science subject.
* High level of practical hands-on engineering experience.
* Programming and scripting knowledge (e.g., C, Java, Bash).
* Strong problem solving, documentation, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to work flexibly and support occasional shift work.
* Submit CV with grades (predicted or achieved) and a cover letter explaining motivations.
