    Support Worker
    Location: Ystrad Mynach
    Pay Rate: £–£ per hour

    Are you a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Support Worker looking for flexible agency work? Do you hold a valid All Wales Manual Handling Passport and have a genuine passion for improving the lives of others?

    We are currently seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our growing team in Ystrad Mynach, providing high-quality care and support to adults with a range of needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a trusted care provider while benefiting from the flexibility, variety, and rewards of agency work.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred support with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household duties.
  • Build positive, meaningful relationships by offering companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to enhance wellbeing.
  • Promote independence by supporting individuals to access community activities, attend appointments, and maintain an active lifestyle.
  • Safely assist with mobility and transfers using approved Moving and Handling techniques, ensuring dignity, comfort, and safety at all times.
  • Support individuals who may present behaviours of concern, responding calmly, patiently, and professionally.
  • Encourage and empower clients to achieve their personal goals, develop life skills, and maximise independence and quality of life.

    • What We’re Looking For

  • Valid All Wales Manual Handling Passport – essential
  • Minimum of 6 months’ UK-based care or support experience
  • A caring, patient, and professional approach
  • Strong reliability and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts as required
