The role
Your new company Hays are partnering with a global manufacturing organisation to recruit a Buyer to join their established procurement team in Newtownabbey. Your new role You will support both the operational and strategic aspects of purchasing, managing supplier relationships and ensuring materials are available to meet production demands. You will raise and manage purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and maintain accurate supplier data. Alongside this, you will take ownership of key commodities, supporting sourcing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and driving cost and process improvements. You will work closely with internal teams and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and contribute to wider supply chain performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
