Are you passionate about preserving our coastal environments and embracing sustainable practices for future generations? Pembrokeshire Coastal Forum (PCF) is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team for 6 months as Project Assistant.
This role involves working with the PCF team to deliver Sustainable Recreation projects, supporting the development of a work plan aligned with your interests. You will be part of a busy team and assist in various areas of our work.

Principal Responsibilities
* Assist in creating communication resources and online content
* Create social media posts to promote sustainable behaviours and marine wildlife awareness
* Support planning, delivery, and organisation of project events and meetings
* Assist with project administration tasks
* Support other areas of PCF’s work as needed
Skills and Experience
Essential:
* Good communication skills
* Interest in Pembrokeshire communities’ key issues
* Interest in nature conservation and/or sustainable recreation
* Willingness to consider others’ views
* Self-motivated with ability to work independently
* Flexibility and eagerness to learn new skills
* 5 GCSEs or equivalent at C or above
Desirable:
* Work or volunteering experience
* Post 16+ education completion
* Ability to speak Welsh
* Knowledge of the local area
The role is for 26 weeks, with 37.5 hours per week. PCF offices are in Pembroke Dock; staff are expected to work in the office 2 days a week. Remote working is possible with a provided laptop. Entitled to 13 days paid leave plus Bank Holidays. Training will be tailored with your line manager.
