As Activities Manager you will lead and manage an efficient operation of all activities that take place in the Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families Departments within your DL Club. You will regularly act as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the efficient operation for the entire club. We take pride in the service we offer our members so selecting the right team is key. You will lead the recruitment, training and empowerment of your team to ensure they bring their A-game to work each and every day in order to deliver an exception experience to our members. We create an environment where our teams feel a sense of belonging, an environment where they can thrive, both physically and mentally whilst fulfilling their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the efficient operation of all activities in Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim, and Families Departments.
* Act as Duty Manager, ensuring efficient operation of the entire club.
* Recruit, train and empower team members to deliver an exception experience to members.
* Create a thriving, inclusive culture where teams feel a sense of belonging and can thrive physically and mentally.
Qualifications
* Has experience managing a large operational service delivery facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).
* Experience leading a variety of functions with variable challenges and goals, or across variable depts.
* Overall great communication and collaboration skills
* Experience of financial planning and management.
* A passion about customer service.
