An enthusiastic CDP is required on the outskirts of Colchester. A beautiful caf style restaurant situated in the Essex countryside is looking for a talented chef. This outstanding venue is only open for Breakfast, Lunch and afternoon teas, 7am-4.30pm offering a fantastic work-life balance.
This popular venue is very popular with locals and travellers from afar, the caf style restaurant has seating for just under 240 covers inside and outside. With a seasonal menu offering a wide selection of homemade favourites using local produce from neighbouring farms. Their chefs also create daily specials, allowing them to showcase their creative side.
They are seeking a talented Chef, who is eager to learn and grow with this family-owned business to join their close-knit brigade.
As a passionate Chef you will be able to demonstrate a solid background and have a flair and originality to bring to the team as well as having a strong fresh food background and a desire to further develop your skills.
This position will suit someone who is looking for a better work life balance, as you will only be required to work 7am-4.30pm

Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and afternoon teas in a caf0 style restaurant.
* Work with a seasonal menu and daily specials, using local produce from neighbouring farms.
* Contribute to a creative, high-quality kitchen within a family-owned operation.
* Support the brigade and maintain standards for a 7am-4.30pm schedule.
