In this role, you'll deliver engaging lessons across T Level and Level 3 Engineering programmes, tailored to your specialism - whether Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, Manufacturing, or Systems & Control. You'll also help shape the future of technical education, contributing your ideas and industry knowledge to an ambitious and growing department.
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised teaching qualification and have experience delivering Engineering above in a school, college, university or UTC. The Role:
Teach Engineering to students aged 13-18 across T Level and Level 3 pathways
Deliver within your specialism (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, Manufacturing, or Systems & Control)
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that bridge theory and industry practice
Work closely with employer partners to ensure courses reflect current technologies
Monday - Friday, based on-site in Derby
The Person:
Has a teaching qualification
Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
Experience teaching Engineering
Passionate about developing and mentoring future engineers
Motivated by both impact and professional reward
