Overview
Prospero Teaching is seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Barnstable. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience or pursue a career in education.
Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
* Support students with their learning and respond to questions
* Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
Requirements
* Experience working with young people (e.g., in schools, youth work, coaching)
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A proactive and flexible approach
* A valid Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
* Right to work in the UK
