We’re working with an operationally complex, multi-site business seeking an experienced Power BI Developer / Data Modelling Specialist to support a high-impact data transformation project.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping how data is used across the organisation, delivering insights that drive performance, efficiency, and decision‑making.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering high‑quality Power BI reporting solutions, working closely with stakeholders across operations, finance, sales, and marketing.
This role combines hands‑on dashboard development, data modelling, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong focus on delivering actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and build visually engaging Power BI dashboards
* Develop and optimise data models and semantic layers
* Work with Microsoft Fabric to support modern data architecture
* Integrate data from multiple systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, operational platforms)
* Create advanced DAX measures to track key KPIs
* Write and optimise SQL queries for data preparation
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements
* Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
* Promote best practices in data visualisation and reporting
Required Experience
* Strong experience with Power BI (end‑to‑end development)
* Advanced DAX and data modelling skills
* Solid SQL capability
* Experience with Microsoft Fabric (or similar platforms)
* Proven ability to work with stakeholders and deliver business‑focused insights
* Strong understanding of data modelling best practices (e.g. star schema)
Nice to Have
* Experience working in multi‑site or operationally complex environments
* Exposure to systems such as ERP, CRM, booking or operational platforms
* Experience with ETL pipelines / Azure data services
* Familiarity with Git and collaborative development
