The Investment Portfolio Compliance (IPC) Guideline Management team is part of the Global Governance & Business Analytics department. We ensure that regulatory, client and internal investment restrictions for European retail and institutional funds are in compliance. IPC is an independent partner to Portfolio Management, Client Services and Product teams to achieve excellence across the entire Investment Compliance process chain.
We are looking to add an experienced professional as a Compliance systems specialist to our European team, located in Frankfurt or London. While you will be focusing on implementing new and maintaining existing system functionalities and data feeds, you will be encouraged to participate in projects and similar initiatives as well. This is a fixed term contract (maternity cover).
In a challenging field and fast-moving industry, we aim to improve with each day and use process automation technology, such as Robotics, to improve our processes and systems. We are dedicated to further develop our department within a cross-regional collaboration to deliver excellence and add value at all times.
What you will do
1. Responsible and primary focused on the implementation of new system functionalities and integration of datapoints in Compliance systems, enabling AllianzGI to meets its growing Compliance Monitoring requirements
2. Overseeing the daily performance and operativeness of our Compliance systems
3. Managing and improving existing processes and data feeds, in an exceedingly faster changing internal and external environment
4. Building innovative solutions for new monitoring requirements, in cooperation with the Guideline Development Team, Account Management and Portfolio Management
5. Actively and independently driving solutions throughout the entire value chain from task identification to final implementation
6. Managing and actively working with external and internal providers to ensure and further develop excellent Compliance services
7. Participating in projects/initiatives which aim to enhance processes and systems
What you bring
8. Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in Economics, Finance, IT or related subjects, affinity to work with numbers, data, financials & corporate governance
9. 4+ years of relevant experience in the financial industry
10. Sound knowledge of financial markets instruments
11. Knowledge of recognized (Compliance) systems, such as MIG21, Charles River, Bloomberg, SCD, Thinkfolio etc. is a plus
12. Ability to share and explain knowledge and experience in a structured and clear manner
13. A highly independent, precise, analytical, proactive and goal-oriented working style
14. Intrinsic motivation to always deliver excellence and to improve with each day
15. A mind that challenges the status-quo and finds proper solutions
16. Excellent time management and organization skills
