The Role / Location
The role of the Marketing Assistant is to co-ordinate all attributed marketing tasks, assisting the Senior Marketing Executive (SME) in the development and implementation of the scheme’s marketing strategy. The Marketing Assistant is a role that involves a level of liaison at many different levels, where you must be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills and an ability to interact effectively at all levels.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
1. Liaising with tenants on-site; this includes store visits to keep up-to-date with new stock arrival, photographing / videoing stock for social media platforms, and updating the marketing manager on upcoming store events or sales etc as needed.
2. Support the SME in liaising with contractors for artwork, printing, installation of marketing collateral and photography / videography shoots.
3. Updating the CastleCourt website after appropriate training and checking opening hours for the centre and the car park, updating individual store times as needed, drafting new offers / events to the site.
4. Assisting the SME with the preparation and co-ordination of an annual marketing and public relations strategy by preparing presentations and gathering research.
5. Providing support on all marketing activity including Influencer management, events, PR and design.
6. Day to day management of social media – replying to queries and scheduling posts / stories.
7. Awareness of all competing schemes and developments and to report accordingly.
8. Use of Microsoft Office software, e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint. Use of additional software to support social media activities, ie. Canva, video editing apps and photoshop.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
9. Proficient with all Social Media channels -Tik Tok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X.
10. 1+ years in a marketing or creative role.
11. Knowledgeable and interested in social media trends.
12. Creative eye for video content and photography.
13. Experience in editing and use of additional apps that can support digital activity- Canva, Photoshop etc.
14. Experience in Microsoft Office – namely Excel and PowerPoint.
It is not a requirement to possess a third level qualification to apply for this role. Applicants will be considered who are enthusiastic, self-motivated and can demonstrate experience in above listed skills.
