Our client, a prominent player in the water infrastructure sector, is currently seeking a skilled Preconstruction Manager to join their team. This position is essential for overseeing activities during the pre-construction phase of infrastructure projects, acting as a bridge between the client, design team, and construction teams, this role ensures seamless project delivery from concept to construction start. Key Responsibilities: Lead the pre-construction process from concept to Notice to Proceed (construction Phase). Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, consultants, and internal stakeholders to develop project scope and objectives. Oversee early-stage feasibility studies and constructability reviews. Assist estimating team to manage and prepare detailed cost estimates at various design milestones. Develop and manage the pre-construction budget and ensure alignment with client expectations and funding availability. Lead value engineering efforts to optimize project scope and budget. Develop procurement strategies and lead subcontractor/supplier selection processes. Develop and maintain preliminary project schedules including design timelines, permitting, procurement, and construction milestones. Identify and manage critical path activities and project risks.
