About Tyler Grange
At TG we value innovation over convention and care deeply about our people and communities. We offer a 4-day working week, on a salary equal to 5 days (80% time for 100% pay). You’ll work with colleagues and clients to contribute to ecology consultancy projects.
What you’ll be doing
* Working in the ecology planning sector
* Assisting on field-based survey work
* Completing data searches and analysis
* Contributing to report writing and issuing recommendations
* liaising with clients and stakeholders as part of a broad ecology consultancy introduction
* Possible overnight stays and travel to sites across the country
We’re looking for new members of our tribe who
* Have a strong desire to start a career in Ecology
* Are aware of legislation governing ecological practices
* Are proficient with MS Office; experience with Magic Interactive Map and QGIS is a plus
* Are proactive team players with strong written and verbal communication skills (including report writing)
* Are interested in gaining individual species licenses
* Hold a full UK driving licence
Nice to have, but not essential
* Academic qualification in ecology or biological sciences
* Experience completing protected species surveys (e.g., bat statics, bat file uploads, reptile mats)
* Experience with Biodiversity Net Gain Metrics

Locations: London, Bristol, Exeter, Birmingham, Manchester and Cardiff. Hybrid model with an expectation of 2 office days per week.
Salary: £25,400 pro rata per annum (plus £3,000 HCLA if London based)
