This role offers the opportunity to contribute to one of the UK’s most significant nuclear infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

The Asset Management Lead is responsible for coordinating, executing, and overseeing all care and maintenance activities for Systems, Structures, and Components (SSCs) within scope—from receipt and storage through installation and up to handover.

The role ensures full compliance with RCCM F6000, HPC contractual requirements, and internal procedures, maintaining all components in a fitforpurpose condition throughout their lifecycle on site.

* Ensures correct application of cleanliness classifications, zoning, and storage conditions in line with RCCM Section F6000 and site cleanliness procedures.
* Manages inspection, preservation, and maintenance frequencies, ensuring timely execution and accurate documentation.
* Oversees zone transfer control, segregation of cleanliness classes, and compliance with Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) requirements.
* Collaborates with QA/QC, Stores, and Construction teams to ensure components remain protected and preserved until handover.
* Verifies environmental controls such as humidity, temperature, sealing, and protective covers, initiating corrective actions where required.
* Maintains auditable C&M records—including plans, schedules, logs, and inspection reports—for LTQR inclusion and upload to NNB’s Enterprise Asset Management system.
* Liaises with NNB, inspectors, and other stakeholders to ensure visibility and compliance of preservation and cleanliness activities.
* Supports audits, surveillance, and handover inspections, ensuring all components are free from degradation, contamination, or damage.

Working Pattern

* Full-time, on-site at HPC
* Monday to Friday
* 38 hours per week
* Permanent staff position

Experience Required

* Previous experience in care & maintenance, quality, or asset preservation within a regulated environment (nuclear, oil & gas, aerospace, or similar).
* Demonstrated experience managing preservation and cleanliness controls aligned with RCCM or equivalent highintegrity standards.
* Strong background in coordinating cross-functional activities involving QA/QC, construction, and stores.
* Experience preparing and managing C&M Plans, Schedules, and associated inspection records.
* Familiarity with LTQR compilation and nuclear lifetime records expectations.

Qualifications & Skills

* Engineering or Technical qualification in Mechanical, Welding, Quality, or a related discipline (HNC or above preferred).
* CCNSG Safety Passport (mandatory).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
* Experience using document management or quality systems such as Teamcenter, Proarc, SharePoint, or similar.
* Knowledge of HPC Quality Arrangements, RCCM F6000 cleanliness requirements, and NNB Care & Maintenance obligations.
