Business Support Administrator
Company: Serco | Location: HMNB Portsmouth, PO1 3LT | Contract: Permanent, Full‑time, 37.5 hrs/week, Mon‑Fri | Salary: £25,500 – £29,500 plus benefits
Main Accountabilities
 * Support the Engagement and Social Value Manager with tasks such as producing communications, newsletters, posters and coordinating external events.
 * Coordinate senior management team meetings and events, monitor room availability and welcome visitors.
 * Compile meeting packs, agendas, take and distribute minutes (internal and external).
 * Arrange security passes for visitors, escorting and coordinate local clearances.
 * Serve as focal point for office infrastructure, reporting building defects, fire log, printer servicing, postage and maintaining general office supplies.
 * Maintain centralised contract information including telephone lists, templates, reports and general information consistent with brand values.
 * Provide general administration support, including production of MS Office documents and presentations.
 * Carry out other business support duties as required by management.
What You’ll Need To Do The Job
 * Excellent secretarial and communication skills.
 * Ability to adapt to a changing working environment and role.
 * Administrative experience working in an office environment.
 * Proficiency in all aspects of MS Office.
 * Experience as front of house and point of contact.
 * Currently hold or be able to obtain SC Clearance.
 * Strong time‑management and organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines.
 * Ability to work effectively independently and in a team.
 * Full driving licence.
