Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring individual to join our team as a Full-Time ALN Teaching Assistant in primary schools across the Barry and Vale of Glamorgan area. No previous school experience is required—just the right attitude and a genuine desire to help children succeed.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support to pupils in the classroom and during daily school activities
* Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
* Build a strong, trusting relationship with the pupil
* Deliver clear, constructive feedback to encourage confidence and progress
* Promote a child-led learning approach
* Manage challenging behaviour and confidently support pupils away from triggering environments
Qualifications & Personality
* Have an open and inclusive approach to supporting pupils with ALN
* Be positive, patient, and energetic
* Have a genuine passion for helping others
* Be committed to enhancing every child’s learning experience
* Feel comfortable working in a school environment
* Be eager to develop skills and grow within an educational setting
