Parts & Shipping Coordinator

Our client is a well established global manufacturer of power generation, turbines, and combustion systems serving industries such as Marine, Petrochemical, Waste to Energy, Hospitals, Education, Offshore Oil & Gas, and Power Generation. We are supporting their ongoing expansion by providing suitable local staff to join their team.
The ROLE
Due to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a talented Goods In / Engineering Stores person. The primary responsibility of the Parts & Shipping Coordinator is to ensure all goods are picked, booked, packed, and shipped daily, with proper documentation for dispatched goods. Hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
The CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will be an experienced buying/procurement professional, preferably with manufacturing or engineering experience. Key skills include:
* Experience in a similar role
* FLT Licence/Vertical Lifter
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of MRP systems (advantageous)
* Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment
* Ability to interpret piece part drawings
