2:1 High Level Teaching Assistant £25 an hour Part-time Starting ASAP Northampton We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant or Support Worker who will be working alongside a tutor who has previous experience working with a range of disabilities such as; Physical disabilities Sensory disabilities Cognitive or intellectual disabilities Psychiatric disabilities Neurological disabilities Development disabilities Learning disabilities Speech and Language Disabilities Key Responsibilities: Personal Care Assistance: Help with tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming, and toileting. Assist with mobility (e.g., transfers from bed to wheelchair). Ensure personal hygiene and cleanliness are maintained. Health and Well-being Support: Assist with medication management, ensuring the individual takes prescribed medications at the right time. Monitor health conditions and alert health-care professionals if required. Assist with dietary needs, including preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition. Emotional and Social Support: Offer companionship and emotional support to alleviate loneliness or anxiety. Engage in social activities, hobbies, and recreational activities to promote mental well-being. Provide encouragement and motivational support, helping individuals achieve their personal goals. Assistance with Mobility and Transportation: Help individuals move around, whether by walking, using mobility aids, or transportation. Accompany individuals to appointments, social events, or community outings as needed.
